Temporomandibular Disorder
There is HOPE
YOUR TEMPOROMANDIBULAR PAIN CAN BE CURED
The temporomandibular joint is the articulation between the mandible and the temporal bone of the skull.
Temporomandibular disorders (TMD) are issues with the jaw muscles, temporomandibular joints, and nerves linked to chronic facial pain.
In most cases of TMD, the distance between the TMJ disk and the mandibular nerve shortens. This compresses the nerve and causes significant pain, especially when chewing, swallowing, or speaking.
Pain may also radiate to the eyes, face, and neck because the temporomandibular joint is near the trigeminal nerve.
